With more expressive mark making processes, I bring together emblems of nature within highly layered swirling landscapes. Through this, I have been seeking to connect with hopefulness and optimism against a backdrop of underground chaos and political stasis. 

impressionistic

With impressionistic moods, these works include erasure and layering to create ghostly moments of arrival or departure. These imagined painted viewpoints often place the viewer looking back at a land from a sea, questioning permanence of place in the world.
